Xcelsius-Formatting Trick -4:Image As Background

MAKING A PICTURE AS YOUR XCELSIUS BACKGROUND

(Click on the images to Zoom)

This is a relatively easy one. These are the step to be followed:

1. Start with a dashboard: for this I'll be using a dashboard which was used for the Pivot functionality display.

2.Next we use the Image component and place it on the dashboard.

3. We Import an image, only specific image formats are supported so do check the formats that are supported by your Xcelsius.

4. Then we resize it and increase the TRANPARENCY of it by double clicking and changing the properties.

5. Then simply send it to back and we have an image Background.

Hey Ted I guess the problem you have is that your components extend beyond the canvas. To overcome this you can either reduce the size of your components or click on VIEW>CANVAS SIZING>Fit Canvas To Components.
